The plot, the character, the relationship, the action. There is everything a good show need.

For me, the best anime gotta be Death Note, Monster, and Cowboy Bebop. Death Note is just peak mind games—Light and L going at it is pure gold.
Monster is a slow-burn thriller that messes with your head, and Johan? Easily one of the creepiest villains ever.
And Cowboy Bebop? That’s just vibes—badass action, deep-ass philosophy, and jazz that hits different. They all got that perfect mix of story, characters, and “damn, that was good” moments.

I would actually recommend:
1. Avatar: The Last Airbender - yes i know not a real anime it is American, but it is still close enough to Anime to count in my opinion, but I grew with it, a single episode every day
2. Future Boy Conan - another one that marked my childhood;
3. Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan - Rurouni Kenshin
4. Kenpuu Denki Berserk (only the original then the manga, the new ones are not allowed )
5. Elfen Lied
6. Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu - Parasite
7. Boku dake ga Inai Machi - Erased.
8. Rainbow

You can see from my comment that I have some preference for either older childish or super serious Anime.

Most recently 100000% Solo leveling- that anime is legit next level!!
A few others that might not be super mainstream Phi Brain, Moriarty the Patriot, Deadman Wonderland
